Mountainboarding Safety and Guardian Guidance

We want every MTB session to feel exciting, free and safe. Here is how we care for our participating skaters and support the parents/guardians.

Every Roadshow Event

– Safety briefings on the hour, every hour.

– Protective gear available to loan in multiple sizes (Subject to availability).

– Clearly marked trails/areas for each experience level.

– Multiple Ambulances onsite.

– Hydration stations across the grounds.

For Parent/Guardian

– Helmets, elbow and knee protectors mandatory for all riders.

– Under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

– Supervised beginner level zones with trained and friendly coaches.

– Viewing areas and clear routes available.

Clothing Guidelines

– Wear close-toed shoes.

– Dress in layers for flexibility.

– Wear clothing that is not restricting movement.

– Visible coloured clothing.

Skaters Etiquette

– Help each other if safe to do so.

– Stay vigilant of your surroundings.

– Pass with space.

– Respect all skate levels.

– Call your lines clearly.

Weather Considerations

  • We will assess weather conditions continuously and pause or postpone the event if needed.

By registering to attend you have given implied agreement to assume all risks associated with their involvement in Mountainboarding and accepts sole responsibility for their own safety.
